These are my musings and observations on my daily life, loves and the laughter that are all a part of my experience of living now in the shires of England.

Poetry - Langston Hughes

Border Line

I used to wonder

About living and dying –

I think the difference lies

Between tears and crying.

I used to wonder

About here and there

I think the difference

Is nowhere.

Langston Hughes

Water-Front Streets

The spring is not so beautiful there –

But dream ships sail away

To where the spring is wondrous rare

And life is gay.

The spring is not so beautiful there –

But lads put out to sea

Who carry beauties in their hearts

And dream, like me.

Langston Hughes
